Seals & O-rings
The right seal, matched at the counter
Oil seals are one of our busiest lines. They keep the oil and grease in, and the water and dirt out, of wheel hubs, gearboxes, diffs, pumps, electric motors and hydraulic gear. We carry metric and imperial sizes and the O-rings that often go with them.
Bring the old seal in, or the shaft and housing sizes, and we'll match it. Doing a wheel bearing? Grab the seal at the same time. Trailer wheel bearing kits and hub kits are on the trailer and 4WD page.

Oil seal questions
How do I find the right oil seal size?
An oil seal is sized by three numbers: the shaft it runs on, the housing it sits in, and its width. CR17523, for example, is 1.75 x 2.75 x 0.312 inches. Most seals have the size or a part number moulded on the face. If it's worn off, bring the old seal in and we'll measure it.
Do you have imperial oil seals as well as metric?
Yes. Older machinery, American trailers and a lot of farm gear use imperial seals, so we keep both.
Should I replace the seal when I replace a bearing?
Usually, yes. A seal that has been pulled out rarely seals properly again, and a cheap seal is what keeps water and grit out of a new bearing. This matters most on boat trailers.
What if you don't have the seal I need?
